Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy
Humanistic Psychotherapy is based on a strong conviction that within us we all have the tools to heal and meet our own needs. It is a positive therapy that allows clients to re-focus on what is going right in their lives whilst exploring the possibility of integrating and working with the more difficult issues that present themselves during our lives.
Often we grow up trying to adapt to society and those around us and this sometimes means that we can lose sight of ourselves and what is important to us. Humanistic therapy allows you the space to explore what is important to you and get back to a self that allows compromise with the possibility of change in a direction that suits the person that you have the power to be.
This process is set within the foundation of the relationship between the client and the therapist which will allow you as the client to feel safe enough to explore all sides of yourself in a non-judgemental and safe environment. This environment is a place where you can grow and chose your own pathway .
